D40 tailgates!

hi, i dented the back of my tailgate it needs to be replaced i have found a second hand one. i have an 2012 ST Navara, the tailgate im looking at is off a 2008 RX i am just wondering if anyone would know if there are any differances in measurements etc?? thanks, any info would be much appreciated

Go to Nissan the should have hundreds of them got mine for a carton..

There was an over haul done it 2010 so you'd have to check it out your self

Just curious, why would Nissan have heaps of new tailgates?

From ute's that have had the tubs removed for trays.

Having tubs out the back is very selective of area, not all dealers will have them and some will never have replaced a tub with a tray. Swapping tubs for slabs does happen occasionally but it's not a common thing because the pricks know they can make money for them when they rip them off to panel beaters.

If you want to find out just how close the tubs are take a photo of yours and post it so people can compare. The 2010 update was minimal and from memory the tub only changed by mms which given the gaps Nissan produce in them leaves a good chance that the two are interchangeable
