I don't think there's a difference between them. Word is that the same canopy will also fit the 550 - because the changes were mostly up the other end of the car.
I don't think too many of us have tried it though - there are a couple, and I was waiting for one of them to jump in, but sometimes they're away - usually someone comes along within a day or two.

Okay, while I can't answer specifically, I can say this: the catalog for my 2009 model shows the tub top as 1487mm, and I've just downloaded the 2014 specs and the tub top is 1487mm as well.
I really doubt they've changed tub sizes in between and gone back - so I'd suggest you're pretty safe.
