Here are a few pics of the trays to suit a D40 style side I make. It'll accept up to 125ah battery(330mm Long, 175 high and 225 high).
Photos is of the one for the left hand side, can also make trays for the right.

The tray is 175 wide, 220high and 330long. It's made to accept up to 125ah battery.

Does it mount independant of the towbar? Mine i have lifted and tucked it back a few inches

It does utilize 2 of the 12mm bolts from the towbar mounting(just sits on top of) as well 2 14mm bolts that hold the bumper on.
