Hi all
Busted the weak as piss front diff in the simpson desert last week ,150KM from Birdsville. Wasn't even giving it some. Likely the rear diff carried me home in 2wd with only 5 pulls needed including a 10m winch to the top of Big Red.

Anyway does anyone know a good place in Syd to get it repaired?
Are there any options to beef this diff up (besides a solid axle swap), will a lokka help?
2006 D22 3lt diesel STR.

fit the early petrol r200 front diff. as a bonus air lockers are available for them to.

i don't know if a locker will help a r180 diff, it depends on why/how its broken. one common cause is spinning one wheel then it grabs, the sudden loading breaks diffs fairly easly. the locker will help with that but it won't help if your putting a boot load of torque trough it.
 
I have a R200A that I am going to put in, in November.

I have never had any trouble with the R180 though.
