Hi, just had the tub of my new STX sprayed by Extreme Coatings in Perth. When they removed the floor Utili-Trak rails before applying the coating they found metal shavings lodged under the rails which had already started to rust. The nav is only 2 weeks new and the only place these shavings could have come from is when the tub was drilled by the dealer to fit the genuine tonneau cover. I guess they never used a drop sheet and only cleaned up what they could see. I had cleaned out the back prior to the coating using a pressure blaster and this didn't remove the shavings so if you have a genuine tonneau cover and the floor Utili-trak rails then I suggest you remove the rails to make sure there are no nasty surprises lurking as if left alone, these rusty shavings may eventually turn into rusty holes in your tub floor.

Cheers

Phill
