z24 4x4 query

i may be coming back on here, i just found a 4x4 d21 z24 on carsales for a good price and im going to call the guy tomorrow. but i thought id just stop by for some advice. is there any main differences between the 4x2 and 4x4? gearbox, engine configuration and diff ratios? do they handle the same as the 4x2? do they have the same dodgy fuel guage?

little info on the car: its a green cap chassis 89' d21 4x4 5sp done 321000kms, its got 3" lift, steel bullbar, alloy wheels, aftermarket bucket seats and a later model steering wheel, carpet flooring, steel tray and drive lights.

Gearbox will be similar except for the transfer on the back obviously.

Diff ratios will be different, engine wise sump will be different and maybe exhaust.

Handling wont be as good as a 2wd as it is higher, fuel gauge, no idea.

Dunno what your budget is but the TF Rodeo's were a good ute aswell. The 4JB1 are a awesome engine.
