Hey guys.

Im new to this site and recently bought a 1986 Navara King Cab.

Ive found that its pretty hard to find any decent 6 stud rims.

I have been told that a stud conversion could be done to fit more common 5 stud rims.

Could anyone tell me any info about this e.g. how to do it, costs, if its worth it etc.

Any help would be awesome, Cheers :D

No need to double post, the relevant people will see your post no matter what section it's in.

Stud conversion involves having a solid aluminium block machined into an adaptor, so the adaptor is bolted onto the six stud, then the five stud pattern protrudes out of the adaptor. Usually involves getting a particular offset wheel to avoid the wheels sticking out too far.

Price... depends on your contacts. Google stud adaptors. Get some quotes.

Is it worth it... Depends. If you're really keen on rims that can't be had in six stud, go ahead.
