throw out bearing

Hey guys gt the nav back on the road yester day after replacimg the turbo. Only to have the throw out bearing let go. Has any body done one of these b4? Price? How hard to fit?

You gotta pull the gearbox out and. Replace the clutch at the same time.

A competent mechanic can do it in about 6 hrs including clutch replacement.

if you are going to do it yourself get the flywheel machined aswell.

yep u can buy a throw out bearing by its self bout $30 for 1

If your going to the effort of removing the gearbox, you may aswell change the clutch and change the rear main seal at the same time.

Haha yeah i knw just short of coin at this point would of like to but thats the way the cookie crumbles i guess
