Does anyone else have the problem where you reset the time and when you let go of the finger dial it flicks to what ever time it wants. It's real weird when it happens and can take 3 or 4 goes to stop doing this. 2013 D40

Left ceduna next day, through Port Augusta and across to the town of morgan on the Murray river. One of those historic little towns along the river you would see packed with campers over summer, has a good caravan park and plenty of riverside camping area's. Still uses a ferry to shuttle...

Next morning and another day on the road, an easy run through to Ceduna, come across more wide loads, theres something about a Police car comming at you head on in your lane.

Pulled into Border Village for the night. If I had to choose between here and Eucla which are only 14km apart I would stay at Border Village again. The rooms seemed much better value for money although small, and the roadhouse itself is really well layed out (bar, cafe, lounge & bistro)with...

Did an easy start next morning, who's in a rush to get home anyway. Hit the big straight again. No traffic hassles. Pulled into a couple of the lookouts. This one was pretty close to the highway. Took some more photo's of cliffs and water just to make sure i had enough.

So we left Kalgoorlie and kept on the trek back south. Headed to Noresman and turned left back onto the Nullarbor. Pulled into Balladonia for the night. Ended up pulling into a room for the night, they are quite comfortable.

The big hole they dug. There is a lot of talk about the mine closing in 2021 when they will have dug down as far as they can possibly go and the future of the town, the mine operators have a plan to wind down operations from 2018 and cease in 2021. I'm not sure if anyone on here knows more...

Next stop was Kalgoorlie. One of those places I thought you could stop for a few days, a day there and I was well yep, seen it. The museum is interesting. Some nicely restored old buildings.

Lake Ballard salt lake. There are 50 or so of these statues placed around the lake which, after walking around we realised they are pretty much all the same, or so I think, so I didn't bother with trekking accros the lake to see them all.

So we hit the red stuff agin, this time for Lake Ballard salt lake near Menzies W.A. Was going great till it started raining as we got closer and the dust turned to mud. Despite your Asian heritage I tried to make you Aussie....

It was apparentley used as as brewery and alcohol storage back in the goldrush / mining days. It semmed pretty cold in there when we walked in so maybe it worked.
