hehehe its a Nissan they all seem to use a lot of fuel
i have a D21 1989 with a now dead Z24 in it and it was doing about 17 to 18 for the 100Km
i have the parts to do a DT27T conversion to it but i need my health to improve a bit more before i even try it
i have a few questions for you :-)
i have a D21 hardbody with a dead Z24 and am converting it to a TD27T (health problems are making it a very slow job) My thread did you do the conversion? was there any problems you bumped in to when doing it?
is there a reason you want to go up from a TD27T...
WOW
you know it amazes me how people post with out even reading what has been going on in the thread
just so you dont have to strain yourself looking for it mate
and if that dont work get a BIGGER HAMMER :deadhorse2:
sorry had to say that
if its "stuck" in gear there is a reason find the reason and dont just force it
if you force it , it may stress something and that could brake at a crucial moment and get someone killed
could be lots of things but 3 that spring to mind are
manifold / vacuum leak :- the gasket manifold to head or manifold to carby bolts could be lose a bit or a vacuum line broken / torn / come off
idler fuel cut off valve on the carby not working :- lots of reasons why that could be
chunk of...
well motor is out and on a stand i bout from SUPERSHEAP AUTO less than 24 hours old and the motor only sitting on it for about 10 min
this could have taken my toes off
rated at 450Kg only had about 280Kg on it
i went back to the store i got it from and got them to open a few others of them...
and the fun has started
i have decided it will be easer to get the motor out by takeing off the body
here are just a few picks of the first day
step 1 get a donor
step 2 get to the motor
step 4 put the body off to one side so you can take more parts off it later and move the frame out...
