Thanks for the help Ben! I knew it had something to do with the airbox because I had been driving it earlier that day and had no problems. I've taped it up for now to create a better seal and success! No more whistling!!! Will be sourcing a second hand airbox asap! Sent from my iPhone...

Hi all, Seen lots of posts about similar topics although earlier today I cleaned my air filter, I've put it back in and now have a very loud whistling coming from the intake. Clamps are intact and it appears to be sealed however I've noticed that there is about 1mm of play if I push on it...

On a poor mans budget. Just want a nice sounding exhaust. I replaced the muffler with straight pipe and it sounds a tiny bit deeper but barley noticeable. Will welding a 90 degree dump pipe style tip make any improvements? Read somewhere that a k&n air filter will give it a better sound but...
