sounds like your synchros are shot. Mine grinds as I change into 4th unless I double clutch or at hi revs and now 2nd gear is starting to do it. Lucky I have a spare gear box but to lazy to change it over. Probably finaly get around to do it when the current one gives in on the side of the road...

I tried fitting my 80 ltr I had from my single cab to my dual cab and had the same problem. Havnt got around to it but im 99.9% sure it will fit when I get around to doing a 2" body lift. Or I could just use a hammer and make it fit

Im pretty sure you cant remove the engine and gearbox together on 4x4 models. Ive removed the z24 a couple of times from my old d21 and had to unbolt the gear box. Also had to lower the front diff by removing the bolts from the Diff carrier and mounts at the front of the Diff, 4 in total. Will...

How did you end up fixing this issue? I have just ran into the same problem. KA24 from wreckers, missing Dizzy. Mines a 1992 4x4. Have yet to start the engine but anticipating having to modify the slots to keep Dizzy from moving.
