Just an up date on yd25 clutch as you may no iv had noise problems with the yd 25 clutch, well Paul has come up with an updated clutch plate iv had the updated plate in the d40 for 2 weeks now and the improvement in just as quite as the original so if your up for a really good clutch replacement...

The kit is every thing you need even the flywheel bolt,can,t remember the exact price I payed but it was under 1000,I don't no what the new kit is in price but it will be a great clutch.

Paul at yd25 has come up with a very good SMF clutch as quiet as the ome, iv had one of the yd25 clutches in my d40 12 months and was not happy with the noise,Paul sent an email the other day with the upgrade clutch plate ,he sent one down and I had it fitted today the difference is amazing,and...

I did my seal on the d 40 and yes you have to put on a new nut and washer

I called in at YD25 in Brisbane and spoke to paul he showed me the timing chain kit, the quality of this kit is unbelievable that going in my d40.

What clutch did you put in 4 naving ?

Don't get me wrong mat the smf is better to tow with it,s just noise, I did find that it is better of the mark when towing but it,s up to you dmf nicer to drive, smf peace of mind.

Had the same prob with mine just notched it out a bit to get a grease gun in all good now.

No down side mike, I complained to paul at yd 25 he said that's just the smf

If I had my time over I,d stick with the dual mass much nicer to drive.

Hi mat,is your d 40 chipped ,I have a YD25 clutch in mine with the chip in the clutch is very noisy ,with the chip out its not as bad,I tow a 22ft van it,s a pain in the ass to tow with the chip out so its chip when towing and the noise drives me nuts,hope this helps cheers Al.
