I've just whacked in a pair of the LED H4 head light replacements. The ones with their own cooling fan. Wow, incredible white light even on low beam, makes my parking lamps look light the inside of a fridge haha

Yeah the Nissan was at around 10L/100k and the Toyota a little more at around 12L/100k Both these figures are nursing at 100kph on the Hwy. they are a bit thirsty when in traffic though. But that's the price you pay to get car like acceleration and good torque for pulling. Give me petrol any day👍

Yea probably if used for half hour privious to bed? Then it would work fine. I mainly thought of this option because of the safety factor. But anyway, just a thought

I reckon the 4.0 V6 is a wonderful thing. Both in the Navara and the Hilux. I've driven both and I too would rather petrol than Deisel. But that's just me

Yeah all those years of driving only with head lights, must have been treacherous mate?

It's not just about forgetting John, they are so bright that sometimes you can't actually see anyone approaching from around a bend or over a crest, unless they have their high beam on as well.

Haha, yeah I went all out with that "review " I would have posted up some pics but I'm to old and stupid to work out how.lol BTW I've also got a 52" bar on my roof, but that is seperatly switched.
