Took it to diesel care in Toowoomba who have diagnosed and quoted $5600 for a reco injector pump. Is this common on zd30s? The more people I talk to seem to have had the same problem :-( The egr is not blocked but the butterfly/manifold has been cleaned out and the PCV is a "free to air"...

I disconnected the NPS and that seemed to make it better for a few minutes but it soon farted again.

Our 2005 zd30 has developed an intermittant hic up. Sometimes at highway speeds it will run fine, but after slowing down or idling for a traffic light it farts. It feels like the motor cuts out for a fraction of a second. I have cleaned the tank out, changed filters, run a fuel system cleaner...

I have been running various oils mixed with me diesel for the last few years and the Patrol and Navara both run heaps quieter with a minimum of about 400ml in the fuel tank.

Has anyone done a before and after dyno run with an I/C (not manufacturers claims, but real world)? I want to see some figures before I commit my time and money to this project.

I used their steering damper on my GQ patrol, it was great.
