Yes there are. Check ebay for lockable hardlids to suit 2009-onwards d22 navara. Can post pics of mine if ya like.

I get 650km from 65lts. Pretty much always works out to be 10L/100kms. I do 50/50 city and highway driving. No mods, only a hard lid.

I just got a hard lid installed for $1600 cash in Melbourne. I love it, it looks awesome and is completely water proof. Had a few big down poors here lately and no water at all. You'll have to lose the roll bars for those tuff lids.

So the best bet would be to replace the headunit, probably with a pioneer double din unit with a steering wheel remote control adapter.

Hey guys, Looking at buying a steering wheel device to control the radio/cd player. Would I be best to change the head unit with one that offers a steering wheel control unit, or buy a device that can work with the standard headunit? Cheers, Brad
