My mate has a Saas gauge piller pod with Saas gauges and ive found the gauges too bright at night and in your face. Im keen on the same set up in my car but only if there's a way to dim the gauges. What do you mean by the back space? Back of the tire and guard space? If i got 17x8 and try to replicate standard offset as much as possible, do a little mud guard massaging i should be ok?

Thanks Tony, yeah thats the only thread that i have only found with any info on 17's. If i was going by that id say id have no issues but it's not comparing apples with apples. Is the patrol rim 17x8? And not sure what size tyre he was running. Assuming 265,70r17

Yeah all drive line oils were done 5k ago too. Thats intersting about the fuel and clutch lines on the d40, will climb under again and check them too and maybe heat protection shields. Your a good man bods, cheers.
