You ‘should’ get an engine light for that. You can also have a fuel pressure code that won’t give you a check engine light, I occasionally get it due to a chip. . I’d be getting an OBD code reader. They are like $20 off eBay.

Intercooler and the pipe from the turbo to intercooler are prone to fail. I’d also check all the pipes etc on the induction system I assume no codes.

I thought the veins controlled max boost like all vnt turbos. The veins open further prevent the controlling the turbos max speed.

Stock I have seen 22.4psi. Have a look at an exhaust first. Ppd do them for $500 and new hot side inter cooler pipe will also assist with low rpm power. I would do at least both of these before you drop the coin on a tune. Also get them to turn all the egr off.

Don’t bother with the peddle boxes. Pay me $300 instead and I’ll just tape a block of wood to your foot to press the pedal down further.

Had something similar before got air in the fuel line some how. Had to pull the fuel lines off at the filter and use the primer. Once started primer through the fuel filter. Then Remove primer. Turning the car off between steps obviously.

sounds like it may not have been fitted properly.
