Looking to fit s switch to disconnect the ABS when towing downhill to get some brakes in the loose stuff...aparently D40s and 3.0l D22 have a 10amp fuse that is used as a switch point but the 2.5 D22's dont have this fuse in either fuse box. Anyone know of a solution?

I really struggle to undo the electrical plugs found on modern vehicles and I wonder if i am the only one. Occasionally i can push the litte tab in and the plug comes apart. But mostly i have to resort to forcing the plug apart with a screwdriver or using side cutters to cut off the locking...

Thanks for suggestions, tried ecu reset by key method....limp mode gone. Perhaps battery method didnt work. Used 7 second method (not 10 as suggested) on fourth attempt. Not sure if permenant fix, still could be pressure loss as suggested. Give it bit more time.

Yes I dont want to muck around with the reel if I dont know what im doing, spring and perhaps pretensioner mechanism. The only answer I can think of is to cut 30-50 cm off the other end of the belt and resew them back on the attachment bracket. Its pretty drastic solution to nissans design...

Yes. I think the problem is the reel is so full it cant retract the belt. So more tension or trim the excess seatbelt would fix problem....but has anyone tried to pull one apart?

My 2012 D22 Navara dual cab has lost tension on both front retractable seatbelts. Ive cleaned the belts and everything I can get at and no change at all. Obviously the retractor springs are losing tension. Anyone found a way of winding up the springs?

When trying to use the earlier manual be aware that all electrical wiring diagrams, location of electrical components etc DO NOT apply to your vehicle. There are no circuit diagrams available on the net for your vehicle, and earlierwiring looms, wire colors etc are different and some components...

Thanks for all the suggestions, unfortunately they dont help as, as I understand it, the navara lock is activated by the key which earths the circuit and activates a "normal"relay to unlock the doors. This is totally different from other cars where unlocking the car by key activates a "pulse"...
