My 98 QD32 runs sweet. I service her myself. 280K on the clock and no dramas. She's a bit slow to get upto speed but they were never going to break any landspeed records especially with 31's. Off road she is a weapon. Just walks over almost anything. Proper 4x4ing... I'd get yours checked out...

Oil level is good. Oil type is as per Nissan's recommendation. Can't remember the exact group of letters off-hand but was very careful to get the correct stuff. Make of oil is Nulon. Aussie flag on the side so thought it must be of decent pedegree... Thanks anyway.

Well I finally did the change. Good news: I now know how to change the resistor. Bad news: fan speed 4 it still AWOL. Looks like I'll be getting to know the stitch assembly next...

Found Nissan OE to be around $15 more for a full filter kit so just went with them. All running nice and sweetly since her service on the weekend.
