G'day All, The time has come to say goodbye to my 550, and life as a Nav owner. I've gone back to where I came from and lashed out on a new Patrol Y62 Ti. Thanks to all of you who provide this forum with an abundance of useful (and some useless/funny) information. I really enjoyed meeting heaps...

Just read the post by "Knickers" Couldn't be said any better. I went through all of that - coming to a head 12 months ago. Intercooler Update . Nissan have replaced my intercooler last Monday - yay. Thankfully Nissan Aus. came to the party with a "good will" part payment, also the dealer I went to was very sympathetic and discounted the price of the part and the labour. (I removed/refitted the bulbar to save them...

They only make them to fit mk1 You can tell by the grille. Mk1 are more square and upright whereas Mk2 have a softer look to them

I've had mine for nearly 20 years and still love it. Can be a PITA if you are setting up and packing up multiple times a day, but for overnighters it's great. We bought it originally to go to the Cape and it was perfect. There's photos of it in the Muster Photos thread on page 8

Apart from looking "sporty" they are rubbish - I wouldn't waste my money on them. Unfortunately when I bought my 550 they were a standard fitment. Because of the way the cross bars sit in between the rails you are limited in useable width space. Just my 2c worth :-)
