What is DP Chip like as I have seen these around for ages?
I guess you have these and Uni chip and Steinbauer to choose from that I have heard of.
I know the rep Beaudesert Exhaust has so have no issues going with them.
Thanks I did try a search before I did this thread and found nothing and just tried again and found 6 threads so sorry about that.
So I have read that these are not very good and looks like everyone is saying go Beaudesert Exhaust for the Exhaust and Chip-it for the chip.
Regarding the Exhaust...
Hi guys,
I have a 2008 D22 Navara and thinking of getting a Roo Systems Chip and Exhaust kit: http://shop.roosystems.com.au/products/chip-and-exhaust-packages/nissan-navara-d22-2-5l/custom-tuned-diesel-chip-and-stainless-exhaust-package-nissan-navara-d22-3l.html
Has anyone here had experience...
Hi guys,
It has been a while since I have done a update and for that matter been on this forum. I have just finished moving and that and have been super busy.
I have not been using the D22 much and since I got the tyres have probably only done about 7000 km's with them. I am still happy with...
Well my father just made mine up and I have been preparing them and painting them this weekend with the old man. I took some photo's of this and will post them up just got to do final coat and then fit them.
They look great so far and we made them out of 3mm Steel (not too heavy).
This thread...
That actually at the moment is not a bad price. I got quoted about $320 a tyre in that size as the best price. That is good a price in that size tyre for example Maxxis Bighorn in that size I was getting quoted around $345 a tyre and around the $400 mark for Cooper muds, BFG and Goodyear as a...
It must depend on the tyre as my 245 are not having this issue and if anything are about 5 mm larger then the factory Bridgestones with about 30% tread still on them. Also most tyre manufactures will give you the overall diameter to compare this as well.
I do not feel most people would notice. I measured the old 265 on the rim then measured these on the factory rim and there is only 10mm diffrence in width on the wides part of the tyres. It should be 20mm diffrence but because the 7" rim is IMO to narrow for the 265 it pinch's it in by 10mm...
Thxs.
Yea I have found buying tyres so painful with so many options so I thought at least I could share my experience with the KL 71 tyre to help others see if they would like this tyre. If there are other KL 71 tyre owners here please post your findings and feeling on the tyre here as well for...
Hi guys,
Just bought a set of these and thought I should create a thread on these tyres as there does not seem to be a dedicated thread for them.
I was looking at many different type of tyres from Coopers, BFG's and Goodyear's and decided in the end to get the Kuhmo KL 71 as I had read good...
Well I do not know about you guys but every time I think I have narrowed something down like the 3 tyres I did a poll for I end up buying something totaly diffrent.
After lots of research and calling around getting prices I settled on Kuhmo KL71 in the 245/75/16 size and got them for $285 each...
I will be toeing a jayco camper (hawk outback) and with the 2.5lt low down turbo lag I feel until I chip and exhaust it I really do not want to slow it down any more. This is why I am looking for a tyre that is in the factory size. The BFG KM2 seems to be the only M/T tyre I can get. Copper...
ok after lots of research (and a lot I found on this forum :) ) I think I will keep to the either the following sizes:
265/70/16
255/70/16
245/75/16
I mainly want to keep to this size as I find the 2.5lt to suffer quite a bit from turbo lag down low and do not want larger tyres to impact this...
