In the dealership I have had an aftermarket cruise fitted to my ute.
It has the magnet zip-tied to the tailshaft with a pickup mounted to the body.
Not long after i took deilvery of the ute it stopped working. I have finaly gone in to have it fixed and they said the magnet had been knocked off...
these must be a bit better are they?

oh & i forgot.
the door seals.
when travelling threw any sort of mud, the seals are to high up in the door. so this allows the mud to get under the door when u can't see it. it doesnt allow it in the cab though, but when u wash your ute, u have to then open all the doors and wash in there...

i love the navara d40, i think they are a great ute.
but i do have some complaints.
firstly like everyone, the ride height & the lack of protection underneath. there an instant couple of grand needed spending other wise u will smash the sump off like i did.
secondly, the wheel sensors that...
mainly for protection against stone chips.
i am actualy goin to start a thread and put some pics in there of the dissapointing stone chips i have.

i was just looking at my safari snorkel.
i cant see any drain holes in the intake cap. if u raise it, u can see gaps threw the slits where the clamp goes but that is the case on the front back & sides which is worse. thats the pipe leading into the airbox. water would flowstraight in

when fitting an aftermarket safari snorkel, its instructions state that you must remove the air transfering tube off the air cleaner housing and bypass it so you intake pipe goes direct to the box itself.
directly after that it states to remove your box assembly and sikaflex all joining clips...
