You're probably right, any ideas on what could cause the Injectors to pop out of their seating? I had just fueled up about 3km's prior so perhaps it was bad fuel and would be worth calling the Servo to see if they had a bad batch?
Spoke to the mechanic today apparently the Injector on cylinder 2 was blown out of its seating and cylinder 3 nearly did the same. He's fixed that problem but is suspicious that there may be a deeper problem that will cause it to happen again down the track. Not sure if anyone else has had the...
Cheers Tony
Went and spoke to him today we had a look at it. Radiator was still full as was the oil but somethings definitely off interally. Timing chain is also fine by the sounds of it. Won't really know what's up until he opens it up but its not lookin good I'd say.
Hey fellas need thoughts got an 07 D40 with 225,000 on the clock. Was on my way up to Double Island for the weekend but I've died on the highway. Was speeding up from 100-110 engine lost some power felt wierd, pulled over and as i slowed down I could feel a piston/crankshaft? noticeably dont...
Got mine done for $80 a pop on the Sunshine Coast
My local tyre shop sent em off to someone for me $80 a rim they look mint check my garage for pics. Probably not worth the hassle to come up here and get em done but I got quoted from $80-$100 when I called a few powdercoaters up here.
A friend linked me a picture he found on the 4x4 Australia Navara forums apparently, not much info was with the picture but it looks as though the user was custom making this bumper to suit the D40.
Was wondering if anyone had seen it before or perhaps might know the person that was making...
Steer clear of Sony, can't go wrong with Alpine or Pioneer both good brands I think Alpine might be a little more expensive than an equivalent Pioneer though.
Good luck with everything mate, not much chance of it ending up my way but I make a note to check out every Nav anyway incase he's a forum member so I'll keep an eye out for a TONKA sticker.
Here's Mannicks truck or MANN one of the best looking Navaras on here in my opinion but each to his own he has a 5" Calmini + 2" bodylift I think and the 33" Tyres http://www.navara.asia/showthread.php?t=15242&page=5 . Then there is this with 35's however as you can see in his list of upgrades...
You'd definitely need to go the Calmini 5" + 2" suspension lift to fit 35's but along with suspension you'll need to upgrade the performance otherwise it'll be the slowest thing around. They don't really need 35's to look beef, someone posted up his D40 with 33's on it earlier and it looks tough...
Where are you located? ZORDO a member on forums comes highly recommended I suggest having a chat to him his prices are very good. I will be looking at getting some Bilstein shocks off him in the near future.
Yep I was originally quoted $80 a rim from the nearest powdercoater, I love the stock rims in black, a mate that owns a new Ranger went and got XD rockstars at about $2.5k+ for the set. My powdercoated stocko's look just as nice and I got some change to spend on better goodies.
I don't know why but I love the look of the D40's with the front bumper off, especially with muddies makes it look like such a comp truck. Looks awesome though mate, if I could go back i'd go 33's instead of the 32's I got and gotten the 2" bodylift but ahh well down the track I guess.
