Hi, I have a 2006 Spanish d40 diesel and need to replace the head. Am enquireing if forum members have had success using the Chinese fully assembled heads which appear to be quite cheap. If not, any suggestions appreciated.
Happened to me. Was an internal failure in the EGR cooling pipe. Exhaust gas straight in radiator circuit. Blew out all coolant in seconds. Had to recondition motor. Cooling pipes to EGR cooler can be looped to bypass the cooler . Then fitted an EGR blanking plate. All good.
I have run 265 75 16 on my yd 25 auto for many years. Cant notice any difference to fuel useage but speedo indicates 9% low due to bigger diameter . Measured with GPS. I think it helps when towing the caravan with a bit of a tailwind. Can sit on 100kph at 2000rpm. pegleg.

Hi, 2006 spanish diesel 2.5 auto. Tow a Caravan. Info sought on any thing to be gained by replacing rear muffler with MUFFLLER DELETE PIPE. Existing set up is stock standard and no DPF is fitted. Thanks, pegleg.
