Had this problem since i bought car second hand from Northside Nissan Perth, mentioned it to them and you guessed it they couldnt smell it so nothing was done. I dont think it is a leak on mine as coolant doesnt go down, more like the bacteria theory i think, mine only smells at certain times...

That sounds unbelievable, you would struggle to get them figures out of a suzuki Alto, are you sur you are not going off the trip computer figures, which are very optomistic, i struggle to get 12 around town.

Yes i did read smartarse, mine is a spain built 2006 STX and it runs a different filter again, much like the D22 in looks but actually a different part no.So there you go tough guy.

Not all D40s are like that, mine runs one with a primer on top looks like D22 but it is different model no. They are still quite expensive though, i have seen them on ebay cheap but not sure of quality.

Ok so i got round to putting on new struts and springs for a 50mm lift, does anyone know how to adjust the camber or caster or does it need doing, my Nav has the cam bolts on it but not sure which way to go. Any help or advise would be appreciated, cam bolts are on lower arm front and rear.

Hi, i eventually got round to changing the dreaded inverted rear leafs on my Navara D40, everything went ok but i noticed the fasteners dont have any locking devices on them ie. nyloc or spring washers. Could this be a problem for them coming loose as it seem against any advise you usually get...
