Doesn't work well if force is applied to the part with constant vibrations. Don't know how long some of the applications in this video would last but, it may be enough to get you to the next town.

I bit the bullet and bought the 2 inch kit with the rancho rs9000xl shocks.. pretty happy. Only complaint is they were a little stiff around town before I put the rack and awning on and had the dual battery out of the tray.
