So stupid, i tried to have these tires fitted in QLD but was advised they are too big and illegal however, they were ok in NSW. So i waited till i moved here to put them on. I guess my argument could be that they weren't on the car when she had the accident (January).

Guys sorry for the grave dig, but i need it in black and white. Nav is going in for insurance repairs and my insurer states no modifications are covered. My tires are 265/75/16. stock is 255/70/16. Am i ok or do i need to swap them out? Mrs misjudged when parking the car...

The wheels were of no significance to me. I handed over 4 wheels without scratches, had new tyres fitted to the new ones for free then proceeded to scratch the 4 new ones about a week later.

Apparently i own 3 D40s because i was sent 3 letters all for different names and VIN numbers... Will take mine in next week after getting a company car. I will also ask them about the bubble rust that has formed across the front of my windscreen in about 5 or 6 different places. In other news...

Ive done about 20,000kms on my MTZs and they wouldnt be 1/3 worn yet. Definitely depends on how you drive. I should see 60,000kms out of mine. IN saying that, i was going for KM2s but the tyre shop jacked the price up at last minute, the MTZs were $30 cheaper per tire. KM2s can be found for $300...

Check ebay and get a cheap double din... they look and fit heaps better. I picked up a pioneer one for $120

I dont know the actual figures, but something like better tyres will make a lot of difference. My mate had a D22 with a 2" lift and Kuhmo all terrains. I have a D40 with no lift, but its running Muddies a size larger than standard, and i was going up steep rutted hills a lot easier than his was...

If you have your boat prepped for paint, you should paint it the same as your truck. An old GFs old man did that and it looked unreal.

i think there is a fair price difference between 32s and 33s. I wouldn't be keen to run 33s without some sort of exhaust/chip upgrade. And yes, definitely way more range if you go with 16" rims.
