I know what the valve does. I have no scientific explanation. Worked on mine.

As well as checking the driveline. i would also check that the load sensing valve is adjusted correctly.

I mounted mine to the power steering fluid reservoir bracket. It's been there for years without a problem. The bracket is easy to remove and just needs a couple of holes drilled.

Yep,it holds two fuses,one for the original power source and one for the accessory.
