Wanted:
D22 Navara. Either single cab (petrol or diesel), or 3.3 V6 dual cab
I'm not looking at spending a fortune, just something well priced. NSW rego preferred but not essential. Will consider unregistered but needs to be roadworthy (or close too it).
Please PM me if you have something...
Has anyone ever wired up a Commodore coil pack on their VG33 instead of using the distributor? I've seen it done on a Patrol TB42 but not on a Navara. Googling came up with nothing.
Thanks but it's all sorted, and it turned out they are the same as the current YD25 model which I've got access to anyway.
I'll post up the pict if anyone else needs it. Thanks heaps scottybobcat for the picts.
I bought a cheap D22 this morning and it has some fuses missing, as well as the cover. I managed to get it running after finding out the injector fuse was missing.
Can someone post up a pict of their interior fuse box & cover (clearly showing the label) for their VG33 D22.
There's nothing in the...

Looking at buying a Pathy for a project if I can't find a king cab Navvy instead.
:big_smile: NICE!!! Maybe I should build a skid machine instead:big_smile::big_smile: Nah, truggys are way better. I'd rather roll slow than fast. But I like the idea of a VG30dett, although they are pretty old and are all probably rooted by now.
Has an RB25 ever been fitted to a D22? I'd like to see that.
The plan for the project was to build a D22 truggy. I knew some D22's had the FS5R30 box, so it was going to be based around that box to make it easier. I want to run (preferably) a navara motor into a GQ Patrol FS5R30 box (RB30/ RD28...
You say no they won't go together. Is that from experience, or just an assumption?
I might go the VG if I can find one, and I'd go the QD's except they are slow. Are the QD's any good when turboed or are they still slow?
My plan was to turbo a KA, and do some other driveline changes :smile...
