Gday mate, Did you ever get to the bottom of your fuel leak problem? I have exactly the same symptoms but also in turn the fuel that leaked down caused road grit and grease and muck to get inside my starter motor somehow and block it up till it died. Was wondering what you might have found...

Cheers Jonney, I'm thinking the seal failed from where the solenoid has a wire running into the casing for the brush unit. There was so much junk in there, not at all like a lubricating or protecting film. Seems strange that this has happened to 2 Starters in a row... Just installed the 3rd so...

Well it looks like I'll be taking the radiator out, i ended up snapping the nut head out of the middle of the tensioner. Must have had a tad to much pressure on it. Lets hope she lasts another 2000km till i get back home. ��

Gday fellas, just wondering how much weight i can put on the breaker bar to move this thing. My whole engine seems to be moving a bit. She just wont crack. Any other tips? I've got a 2000k trip to do and would rather sort it out now than on the side of the road. Cheers.
