    Please help!! A/c wtf issue

In conclusion, this turned out to be a fan motor that was getting very sticky, thus taking way too much current to drive. These fan motors are not meant to be pulled apart but the mechanic who has done all of the work to date on the pigs-tit kindly disassembled it and greased it up. Problem...

    Please help!! A/c wtf issue

When I replaced the resistor the A/C worked perfectly again for one day. So it's definitely a resistor issue. The A/C light is ON in positions 1,2,3, but NO blower active. In position 4 the A/C light goes OFF but the blower kicks in again and works as per normal, without blowing cold air of...

    Please help!! A/c wtf issue

Well it was new from eBay. Came in what appeared to be a genuine Nissan box with part number, unopened and looked brand spankers. However, you can get the exact same boxed item from Alibaba for $26 (but you have to wait 30+days for delivery), so who knows if it's the real deal in all honesty...

    Please help!! A/c wtf issue

I am so close to burning this P.O.S Nav it isn't funny! Changed out the resistor with genuine Nissan unit. A/C worked perfectly again for 1 ******* day, then went west exactly like the first one. Any idea why this unpolished turd is suddenly blowing resistors? I've done nothing to the pig-tit...

Cofirmed. Resistor it is. Plenty of videos showing that this is a common issue across the globe to Fronteras, X-trails, Sh!tboxes etc. Thanks again!

    Please help!! A/c wtf issue

I'm sure you've all heard that Port Augusta reached 49.7C on Thursday and because I live around that general area A/C is vitally important! Jumped in Sh!tbox (has cost me $14k in repairs recently and still counting) today and turned on the A/C which has been the ONLY dependable thing on this...

    P0135 fault code

The info you provide - always - is invaluable. Cheers Tony! I'm running the ScanGuage II and have had this code come up several times prior to a catastrophic engine failure, which I reset half a dozen times. My paranoia about resetting it now is MONUMENTAL after a $14K rebuild from REPCO...

    P0135 fault code

Holy thread revival. Just had an engine rebuild in an '08 Thai 2.5 and had this code come up. My question is will it do any sort of damage if I reset the code and ignore it? Or see if it happens again? What are the possible outcomes of driving around with this code?

    VSK engine swap with VMNT?

April 2016: '09 Thai YD25 6-speed auto king cab enters meltdown and seized. Left sitting in the shed because I sure as hell am not endowed with cash. January 2017: '06 Spanish YD25 manual dual cab flips on a dirt section in my 'hood. Running gear all OK. Because I live in remote SA I have to...

    Solar & Pump without battery?

Hi to all the knowledgeable sparky types. Looking for an answer to my conundrum. Now I don't know peas from pods when it comes to electrical stuff so I'm stuffing my pride and asking for help. You see, I go camping at a little bush block in the Flinders Ranges and there's this old well that...

    Few quick questions

Hope I'm not too late to wade in with suggestions? As a Flinders Ranges local I can give you some top pointers... If you're done with the coastal stuff then do the Flinders! Bendleby is south of Hawker by about an hour, and Hawker is where the REAL good stuff starts. Of course there is...

    Can This Snorkel Be Fitted?

My thanks for the replies, fellers. I managed to get the seller on the blower and he assured me that the external snorkel will fit. The internal piping is different between the DC and KC and he tells me that the included internals are for the KC. I'm about to find out today.... Apparently this...
