Has anyone checked you fuel pressure ??

My 2011 book seems pretty straight forward what needs replacing .At a guess when they mention timing belt on gasoline engine there talking about the 2.4 frontier which does have timing belt.

Life's too short to drive a diesel.

Jump onto YouTube mate and search - nissan frontier timing chain whine. Compare there noise with yours. I'm a petrol as well and some early vq40's had secondary timing chain issues, hopefully it's not that. And rule out belts and tensioners first as oldTony says.

Thanks for the link Aussie frontier I realize the cover is from the US as I have it already .Frontiers come standard with plastic caps and a spray in liner which is why the people that make my cover (Bakflip) don't bother to make caps. Yes I haved used the seach box but did no good. Does anyone have or know of a D40 stx duel cab tub liner where the tailgate piece comes over the top lip of the tailgate. All the tub liners I can find are under lip but I'm sure I've seen one that was an under lip liner with a wrap over tailgate...
