Nissan called me, said it was a loose steering box. So I went there, and surprise first corner crack. So I took it back and left it there again. So stay tuned.

Put my standard tortion bars back in, still noises.

Everyone that has a d22 have or has this loud front end noise, and has accepted it. Why r we accepting this. It's not normal and should be fixed. Surely some one has complained to Nissan and had it repaired???

Took my front shockers out and still got the noise, removed and refit tortion bars, no change. Monday I am going to put the old tortion bars back on and see if it fixs it. I have spent hours looking and trying to eliminate the noise. If i don't fix it by Tuesday it's going back to Nissan. Bryce...

On the hd tb should u be able to see the ends of the splines sticking out each end by about 5 mm?

Ur right, it's not the tortion bars. It's not the steering stops, I've greased them and got plastic covers. The noise is not normal, it is not always under full lock when the crack happens. I've just put a 2 inch iron man lift kit and grinder the lower control arm a little to stop it rubbing and...
