    Speedo Sensor

My reverse camera is working fine. If i connect it to the reverse light I get a back feed and blow fuses. I'll have a look tonight and try and find a multi-wired one. I do remember that one of the connectors had two wires going into it and was a different sort of connector plug to all the rest...

    Speedo Sensor

I'm also trying to find out which one is the speedo sensor. I installed a reverse camera and needed to lock it onto the reverse sensor coming out of the trans. While doing this i've done something under there and the speedo doesn't work now. I checked all of the connections and it worked for...

    What's your favourite Car Wax?

Meguiars Professional for me and i also keep the meguiars scratch removal paste on hand as well. Doesn't seem to damage the coating to much and can get out those subtle scratches. Love the look when i bother to do the whole car!

    Connection for reverse camera

I've got one of those chinese unit dvd, GPS radio 7" screens. So the power is pulled from the radio circuit (usual, acc and power). It has a "reverse camera wire" which flicks to the reverse camera when earthed. At present i had run it to under the car and was going to go into whichever plug it...

    Connection for reverse camera

Yeah pro-nav, thanks for the reply, i'm in a d22. I'm not needing to draw power for the screen, but your idea seems pretty good. Don't happen to know the colour wire i'd search for?

    Connection for reverse camera

I'm putting in a reverse camera which can switch to the camera when put in reverse. I've wired the actual camera up to the reverse lights at the back so the camera only has power while backing up. But i need to connect the screen to the reverse gear signal out of the gear box. (so it...

The unit doesn't come with GPS software (ie tomtom or igo). have managed to get the software on there but it doesn't find the maps. Very annoying but i'll figure it...

    Audio upgrade

Yeah Jon, Only just got it in. Having problems with the GPS, TOMTOM can't find its maps. Haven't really had a serious go at it yet. TV antenna is as good as useless. Any good ideas on where to mount it? What is oziexplorer? I presume a GPS program. Cheers

    Audio upgrade

Hi, I have suffered the same problem of shorting the fuse after installing a new head unit. The difference I found was that it was an orange wire in the loom that was the 'so called' earth that went to the park lights. Disconnecting this wire solved the problem. Maybe someone buggered the...
