I haven't had a notice but this must have something to do with the huge recall Toyota did earlier this year for their airbags. The company that does those airbags does the whole Japanese car brands airbags. So nothing to do with Nissan or Toyota really. Poor manufacturing from the mother company.
Dmac, your ideas are totally fine and would be good, but there will be no real noticeable performance gain until you do an ecu remap or chip the thing. The ecu will detect the extra air flow and work to bring the mixtures back into line with the factory tune. I'm not saying it's not worth doing...
Time for another 2 cents worth.
I had a 2013 d22 (I have a d40 now) with a 2'5 inch straight through custom system. No cat, no muffler and only 1 resonator straight from the turbo. It was great. Not loud at all but it was deep and throaty and sounded great when up at 4000 rpm. (Not often though...
It's good practice to do an alignment after any suspension changes. I had the RAW nitros in mine and they were awesome. If you are happy with the hight then you won't need to adjust the torsion bars.
But yeah, if it's pulling to the left probs just get an alignment and she'll be apples.
That really depends on the driver and the mods. You may have to be more specific in the q's.
Some guys with no mods get 550 and some manage at least 650.
Generally the zd30 economy is less then yd25 for obvious reasons.
Ah right yd25 sorry guys.
I work closely with a company that sells roo systems stuff down here in melb. Early on as in a couple of years ago there were issues with roo systems chips and software stuff.
Recently though they have fixed a lot of those issues. I will happily recommend them.
It's a noted problem but seems to be less common on d22's

They do a double row chain conversion kit that is the biz. I know of a few guys that have only paid the difference to Nissan if car is under warranty.
You could also keep hounding Nissan and they may do a good will...
