My '07 navara steering wheel is fine. After nearly 160,000km it is still good. However the missus's '09 Pathy is having these peeling issues too.

I've done 120,000km on the 265/75 tyres. On the original conti's I found it 8% out. With the bigger size 2% new and 3% after a while. I was running Cooper ATR's and got 105,000km out of them. Now running the ST's and love'em.

I think I also read that low range in 2WD would also put too much strain on the rear diff with the extra torque.

Finally got the Nav back after a little over three weeks. As I mentioned they replaced the timing chain which Nissan came to the party with. They replaced the main chain, a sprocket and two tensioners. Was going to cost me $2,000. When I asked them if this will happen again they said they now...
