Been ages since I was on here but here’s an update on ye olde Nav. Has barwork and canopy/drawers setup and a lot more proper bits and pieces now. The QD32 is running at 22psi very well, it will have a Holset HE221W turbo soon running 30psi. It’s now on 33s instead of 31s and has a 4 inch lift.
So adding that gap reduces compression so it’ll take a turbo on it? My plan at first is just to put a stock TD27T on stock boost for now with a boost gauge and EGT gauge so I don’t get the exhaust too hot
Planning on turbocharging my QD32 in my 1998 Navara and I’ve been told by a mate that QD32s are exactly the same as TD27s just with different displacement and injector pump. What are all the differences?
I want to know if what he said is correct because apparently it’s quite common to throw...
I have recently bought a D22 pre-facelift QD32 1998 Navara as my first 4WD. I plan on doing a few small upgrades like bash plate, recovery gear and a winch to get me going then at some point when I can afford it I’ll get bigger and better stuff.

Sorry I didn’t realise there were several but mine is a 1998 with a QD32 (non-turbo) and 5 speed trans. Double cab if that helps too. Before they did the main facelift to the ZD30 turbo engines
