Hi need sum help with my vq40de engine.

The truck starts right away but check engine light is blinking... rough idle and no power what so ever...

Truck seems to have no power. Idles rough... Low/deep grownling sound when i accerate. Almost sounds like its choking... exhaust smokes when i accelerate (white smoke) and smells like unburnt petrol..

Bank 1 cylinderS all fire properly but bank 2 are all dead. Bank 2 Injector tips covered with dry carbon aswell as sparkplug tips... only on bank 2 (3 out of 6 cylinders).

Fuel economy has gone terrible.

Any idea whats wrong?

Knowing the code that's bringing on the engine light might help a little (not always).

If it's just one bank, how's the coil for those plugs? Is fuel getting to the injectors? Is there any signs of damage to the injector harness on that side?

Running on 3/6 cylinders won't be good for the fuel economy. The smoke makes me think those injectors are okay and it's more likely the coil so that's where I'd start. Pull a spark plug lead off the spark on the "dead" bank, put another plug in the end of the lead and earth the base of the plug. You should see a spark when someone cranks the engine for you.
