Clutch pedal not fully returning!

Hey guys,

Just replaced the clutch in my 09 D22 a couple of days ago. Clutch engages and disengages fine, just having an issue where my clutch pedal does not return the whole back up. Gets to the bite point and will most of the time stick before popping back up or has to be pulled back up.

Replaced both my master and slave cylinder, but didn’t make a difference.

Thinking could be something to do with the spring connected to the clutch pedal and the small plastic bushes on the spring (image attached). Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue.

I did, and as I recall it was the pressure plate diaphragm spring. This was around 10 years ago and I didn't fix it myself so my recollection my be fuzzy
