D40 ST 6 speed diesel. 2 inch lift kit road tyres. Getting 650kms when the fuel light comes on. 80L tank Mainly 110km driving I thought the economy might have been better? Any suggestions on how to get consistant 9L per 100kms? Only done 50k, so it may loosen up a little at the 100,000kms...

Any idea on cost, and or improvement on economy? Does it affect warranty with Nissan?

Hi ya all, Love my D40. Lookign forward to getting into the outback. My expectations so far are that the vehicle is better than my old 2003 STR. Trouble free in 220k, although I thought the extra gear in forward may have contributed to some nicer fuel figures. Currently 750kms out of the 80kks...

Hi all Any info on performance chips for a D40 diesel 6 speed.

Just purchased with 50k on the clock. 6 speed diesel and only returning 600kms when the light comes on. MAjority of that 600km on highway cycle at 110kms. Previous Navara was a 5sp D22 and used to get 750kms out of a 60 litre tank. I am suggesting that around the 100,000 mark it will loosen up...
