My 2007 STX will relock itself, if it has been unlocked but none of the doors have been opened. Has happened a number of times when leaving work, while approaching car unlock the vehicle, then get distracted talking to a colleague the car will relock.

Had the timing chain in my D40 done a couple of weeks ago. Twin row chain upgrade. Cost $2870. Mechanic in Orange NSW. $300o for genuine replacement seems over priced.

Thanks to all. Fitted new neutral switch today. Removed cross member under gearbox to allow better access. Local stealership had the switch on the shelf for $32. Cruise control now works in all gears, and at low speeds.

My 2007 Spanish STx didn't come with the temp display. However there was another thread, something about "Ambient Temp" in the title. After reading this thread I obtained a sensor from the local stealership. and following the instructions in the thread the display works fine.:cheers!:

Don't know why you have been charged so much. My green slip (paid 1st Oct) was $435.24, it is with the NRMA in NSW.

:pissedoff: Finally have fixed the problem. There was the smallest of "bruises" on the outer covering about 10mm fron the closest grmmet to the sensor. It appears that the wires are broken inside the insulation.

Had the same problem with our 2007 Spain, still under warranty (just!!!). The local dealer replaced everything from the "injector pump" (as they insisted calling it) i.e. fuel pressure pump to the back of the injectors. No proper explaination ever was given. Fortunatley Nissan picked up the bill.
