I am converting my clutch from a DM to a SMF. I have heard that changing the oil to a higher viscosity is a good option as there is additional vibration transferred through the gearbox. Have others done this or just continued to run the recomended oil. Cheers Matt

Got an Iron man on my D40. Have no complaints.

The rack is quite long compared to the canopy. It will overhang. The issue you may have is the distance you will be able to mount the legs apart. Will be interested to see the results if you do mount one off the canopy.

I have the pioneer rack on my D40 and a flexiglass canopy. There is no way I could fit the pioneer rack on the canopy due to the length of the rack. I am planning to put a rooftop tent on the canopy and leave the pioneer rack for everything else.

The platform is 1528 x 1376mm and I have the 50mm pigmy legs. Was $1027 + fitting.

I have just had the new pioneer platform fitted. Very happy. Lots of storage space. I had the factory rails and cross bars on the titanium removed due to rust forming under it and replaced with the Rhino unit.

I have the Flexiglass sports canopy. Great looking with rear wing and brake light, rear demister, interior light and carpet lined. Is a smooth finish with roof rails, only good to carry around 50kg though. The tradesmen doors are good for accessing the front of the tray as well.

Ther is a Navi Gator that I have spotted on Ebay a couple of times. It has a standard GPS unit and a wireless reverse camera. Looking to get one for my car. Do not really want to change the head unit.

Mine sounds like the same problem you had. Only exception is my car has been like this from brand new. Hasn't had the oportunity to get submerged. I can get reverse when stuck down. And like yours when stuck up you have to give it a good hit to get it down and then near impossable to get back up.
