    Professional Painters

X2 on getting painters in. I'm a chippy like you rusty and my dads a painter so I appreciate the differance in quality from what I can do compared to the old boy. If you had the spare few grand it would totally be worth it. Although I know money is tight at these times. Congrats on the purchase...

    ARB Rear Protection bar

That's good news about the tjm bar. It is such a better bar than the arb in every way. Much better looking hanging off the back. I'll be saving towards one I think. What are you going to do about matching to your body lift rusty? Redrill/chop it or just live with the small gap? I'm at a...

Hey rusty, Patrol custom 4x4 at Beenleigh did it I remember seeing it on their Facebook page. It did look good, but there custom d22 bar also looks bloody good. -Tyler

    New ST-R with BB + Tow $28k

Insane pricing these days. Definitely the best value for money in the new car market. I'm pretty certain earlier d22's were 3ton towing but when the d40 was released with its 3ton towing they dropped the d22 back to 2.8 purely for sales. So if you needed right up to that 3ton you had to go the...

    Bullbar change over.

I'm pretty sure from when I installed my bar you can get the gap to about 12-14mm, but you really don't want to get it to close as the bar on d22's vibrates and moves quite a bit. Get it to close and it might start touching or a slight bump and the thing will take out a guard pretty easily...

    Fuel econ & towing

Your economy is very similar to mine. I don't ever really get to drive without a trailer as I tow one for work 6 days a week. I just got a new trailer which is a 7x5 and quite high so a good wind catcher. My last fill up yesterday was 60l for 470km no fuel light so I'd say empty would of got...

    D22 owners Gold Coast

I'm Also Gold Coast based, not a great deal of tracks around the coast that I know of. The popular ones are being patrolled a lot more regularly now. Anyone have some good spots? -Tyler

    pet insurance advice

U I was one that thought what can go wrong with a young dog when I got my Labrador. How wrong I was haha, I never took out insurance as I thought what a waste. At about 3 years of age she started getting very sick so off the the vets. Long story short it was a 3 month battle to find what was...

    Diff drop down kits

To fit these drop bushes, what exactly would need to be done? Cv's and diff removed completely or is the diff able to just be unbolted and lowered in place? And the spacers then fitted? -Tyler

    XFORCE 3" exhaust

This is good to read. Did you get the system off eBay or best mufflers? And how bad does it hit the fire wall? I'm right in the middle of making a decision on an exhaust and I was leaning towards the xforce purely because it's half the price of every other but a couple of places have warned...

    Dealer modified brand new D22's

It does look the business for sure, I don't know about that certain dealer, but I remember when ordering my d22 a year or so ago the dealer said any extras ordered when new comes with the 3 year warranty. Would be nice to have that kind of warranty in the accessories -Tyler

    Need help with aftermarket UCA´s!

The superior arms do look good and it is good to see some local companies producing aftermarket gear, but they are very exxy in price in comparison to the calmini arms. Almost double what I paid delivered from the states. The calmini arms are a tried and tested product that last. The only...

Fraser to Brisbane without a torsion bar

This happened to my 2012 as well after having a tough dog kit installed. Mine was also the drivers side that stripped the adjuster. At the time I was under the impression that it was mainly to do with having the bars wound up too high. After having the kit installed i had the front wound up...

Desperately need help fuel system d22

There is so many different issues that these d22's can throw that have very similar symptoms. My yd25 powered d22 had a similar problem from about 2800rpm and onwards under acceleration would surge and lose power then pick up and struggle to maintain highway speeds. It sounded just like te...

    Affordable after market Control Arms

If you want the cheapest price, consider running a group buy straight from calmini. Rustynav did one earlier in the year that I participated in. I think it was $430 each set of arms shipped from the states to brisbane. Quite a substantial savings if you can be bothered. You wouldn't have any...
