I was lucky as my brown davis bash plate kit came with nuts with pre welded wire on them. All i did was find slightly longer bolts to make up the thickness of the recovery point.
The thickness of the spacer is not the actual lift you'll get. A 15mm spacer will lift close to 25mm or thereabouts. I put 35mm spacers in and it lifted near 60mm. ..
I've got the supercheap ridge ryder 9500lb with wire cable and wireless controller. Haven't used it yet so can't say anything else about it except in freespool it is hard to pull out.
Sometimes it good to spend the extra and have them installed as you can say you had nothing to do with it so replace it. I wouldn't be happy either, there are going to end up scratched and dented eventually but brand new is brand new, no faults.
Hey there, it's really up to what your willing to spend. I originally chose the tough dog 2" lift but ended up getting efs instead. Long story short I'm not 100% happy, it's a good setup but I should have waited or gone somewhere else for the tough dog.
They gave me some spacers free of charge, they didn't recommend me going to a hd spring because I initially asked for a comfort spring and the hd's are said to be very stiff. At least they did something about it... going to put them in on friday.
I also just fitted the efs lift kit recently but had no problems with the wheel alignment. Probably because with all the accesories I have up front I didn't actually gain any lift beyond standard height. Going to install spacers on friday.
