Centre punch and left handed drill, then exy-out like old tony said if its below being able to be grabbed, stilsons if its above. Wouldnt hurt to have a vacum going while your drilling sucking the swaf away. Good luck You may need it!

Hi mate i think there is 2 switches from memory on the transfer, be worth pulling the other one out and spraying it in contact clear and tapping it a bit to free them up. then id check across the pins with a mulimeter or test light to make sure they are right is like the neutral and reverse...

The heads are different as well, one is crossflowed and the other isn't and the manifolds would need modification to work.

Just try jumpstarting it with another vehicle, starter or leads getting tired could cause not enough voltage to ecm, or fuel pump to let it fire, or you may have knocked the glow wire and its not glowing, check it. good luck

might be a silly suguestion, have a look at the back of the plug and the wires up in the dash I did see a 2-way wired up to the power on a obd plug before.
