    Tyre Swap - Brisbane

Hey guys, Does anyone know of any places that swap tyres in Brisbane? I've heard a couple people talk about it, but I cant find anywhere. I'm looking to swap my Bighorns 265/75/16 to some all terrains. The BH's came with the Nav and I don't really use them for what they are. Plus, they are a...

    Mud or A/T

This is what I was considering doing. Has anyone here done it? Is it worth while? Apart from cost, is changing them the only other hassle?

What a weekend! I ended up going with 22psi and had no problems at all.. A couple of real soft spots, Indian Head and up to Orchid Beach in particular, but the Nav handled it with ease. 7 hours from Eli creek to Brisbane killed me! I slightly mis judged high tide, but that didn't cost much...

Ive got Bighorns. I might start a bit higher. I normally run at about the 22-20 mark, and last time i didnt deflate at all down at Ballina as we were only driving on the beach for a few hours. Didnt have a problem there. Starting higher is obviously better than going to low I suppose!

It's funny you mention tyre pressure because that's what I was coming to check up on originally and found your thread. I'll take that 18psi I think!

    UHF not switching on

Ok, so, after having some time and looking into it properly, I found it.. The fuse holder directly behind the uhf had broken so the fuse has fallen out. Not sure where, but the problem has been found. Cheers for the help lads! Off to Supercheap I go!

    UHF not switching on

I had a look on the wiring, and on the active and neutrals, there were what i thought fuses on them also. Maybe a foot or so before the battery. I could separate them. But they didnt seem like a fuse.. (?) I'll have another look tomorrow arvo. Cheers

    UHF not switching on

So it seems my UHF has sh!t itself. I left it on overnight and forgot all about it until i went to use it next and realised it wasn't working. There is absolutly no power. I'm not too technically minded, which makes it harder for me to find the fault. I had a quick look at the wiring but not too...

    Hi all.

First time fourbie owner here with an '06, D22. Very stoked with it and it came with and cannot wait to put it all too good use. I'm here to learn a lot from the wealth of knowledge within here, and am open to all advice given. I can tend to ask stupid questions too, so bear with me! Damo

I'm running the Bighorns also. They are new, bought in July with not many K's put on them since then. Should I look into buying some road tyres?

How many k's are taken off them for running them everyday? They are noisy, but i like that noise.. Laziness is also a big factor, and also I bought it with them on, so that means i need to purchase new rims and tyres.

Hello all. First time poster. I'm in Paddington and very keen to get out and drive more. Is this a regular thing? Can it be made into a regular thing? I haven't had the pleasure of owning a 4wd before, and I noticed that a few of you guys were changing from your regular tyres to muddys. My Nav...
