diesel gas conversion was the single best performance mod I ever did to my Nav.

You do have a separate tank for the gas. They usually install it on the left chassis rail approximately under the rear passenger. Your diesel tank won't need to be modified and the gas tank is usually a 27 litre job, which is more than enough for one full tank of diesel.

Just sold my 05 D22 Nav 3l STR. 99000kms, DGAS, intercooler, tint, towbar, bullbar, spotties, tonneau, tub liner, snorkel, exhaust, seat covers, floor mats in immaculate condition for 25 grand. I would have liked 28 000 for it but the market wasn't gonna let it happen. Hope this helps.

It would be a complete waste of time doing a 3 inch exhaust without replacing the dump pipe/cat. The standard dump and cat are extremely restrictive. If you are gonna put a new system on, do it from the turbo back.

You obviously have to have a safari snorkel with this setup too cos the pre cleaner would get in the way of your bottom intercooler pipe, hence the need to remove the pre cleaner.

If you mean Australind near Bunbury, you could take a look at this: It has all the mods you will probably end up doing. The big one is the intercooler. Should you have a turbo failure, this will protect your motor from getting lunched. Good luck in find a Navara. They are an awesome...

Mine was $3800 and at the time in WA we got a $3000 rebate. I'm pretty sure the rebate is only $1750 now.

Doesn't sound good. Sorry to hear mate! I fitted an XR6 intercooler(turbo catch can) just in case of this happening. My ute has almost done 100 000kms and I am a little worried about this happening due to the number we are starting to hear about after 100 000kms.

They call em Hiclowns over at 4wdaction forum. Not many people have reported a fuel economy benefit or a performance gain. I personally wouldnt waste my money on one. I think you would be better off with a k&n airfilter. You know what they say "if it sounds too good to be true ....."

I am running 16x8 with a zero offset. I found 265/75/16 stick out a fraction. 245s just fit inside the guard.
