Hi guys I know this has been asked but I'm a little confused what is the best alternator replacement to suit my 2004 Nav needing one ASAP was looking on eBay and not to sure which ones to go with or if any one can recommend where to get one

Ok fair call I was only looking at upgrading the shocks for now any way but when I seen this I thought I'd ask the question the eBay seller doesn't give out to much info and takes a day to reply

Well it turns out all it was the tension pulley and the bearings for the belt nothing to worry about the zd30 supposedly do not have timing chains ? But not as bad as first thought

Yeah well the bloke said to get a duel chain but I went to another and he said the zd30 nav are good the yd are the shit ones so he said bring it in and I'll have a look so hopefully it's only the pulley but it does sound like a chain slipping it's worse today a lot louder comes and goes still...

Yep it's the timing chain the bloke told me 3500 to replace only a days work

I'm from wagga nsw yeah I'm trying to upload it but it isn't letting me na it didn't really change any think it only happens every now and again might go for a minute then stop then start up again it happens on idle and acceleration sounds like a loud dap like something's hitting medal or a lose...

H guys just wondering how hard is it to change the front crank seal iv been quoted from $600-$900 to do and the seal is only $20 just wanted to know if there's a how to on here couldn't find any think thanks for the help

Yeah I haven't go a car either adding a muffler would make it less loud but would it lose power as well because I noticed a huge difference driving once I changed over

Sorry d22 dave I got a 3 inch xforce straight through its a tad to loud thinking of putting in a high flow sports muffler has any body done this

Yeah your not wrong some things iv read about snapped studs and Haveing to bash bits here and there I thought I'd wait till the weekend but I was getting to inpatient and couldn't wait any longer haha still have to take it for a decent drive but it seems to make a huge difference
