    Seat belt grabbing on incline

Thanks for the ideas. I gave it a bit of a clean and seems to be working more consistently, even letting me retract it on the incline. I'll give it a proper clean after this rain and hopefully that will fix the issue for a while.

Yes, it could just be a peculiar thing about the mounting brackets on mine or maybe its had some damage in the past that has altered the geometry a bit? I have cut out the steel where it impacted so hopefully this will stop it happening again. I was able to remove enough steel without it...

Thanks for the reply. Glad I'm not the only one. It looked like everything would be fine when I picked the ute up. A friend who owns a panel shop did it up (thus the pro respray - looks new) and put the big tyres on to be kind with the expectation everything cleared (just). Seems like the...

265/75/16 on a D22 - Want answers? Use this thread.

Bullbar issue I just had an issue with my 265/75R16s on a standard 2006 dual cab (no lift). Had been running fine with these for the first 2000km since purchased from a friend with new mud tyres. Hit a deep culvert at about 60km/hr and the front driver's side tyre impacted the rear of the...

    Seat belt grabbing on incline

Hi all, Just did a search and couldn't find any threads describing a similar issues. My 2006 D22 dual cab has a grabby driver's seatbelt. It won't retract when the car is on any "down" incline but otherwise is fine. I have to sometimes drive a few meters before it will come out (or to a flat...

    Goodride tyres

Yep, I'm still very much experimenting at the moment. One thing i have noticed is how easy it is to churn up the driveway!

Thanks. Running at 32. Seems to help. Dont care if they wear faster.

    Goodride tyres

My 2006 D22 came with a new set (265/75 R16). Not that noisy on the highway, seem OK in muddy conditions but little testing yet. Bit slippery in rear end when wet but I dont have a benchmark to compare with (first rear drive car without stability or traction control).

NEW to NAVs 2.5 vs 3.0 and MORE

I must say coming from a modern common rail SUV I find the ZD30 noisy off-idle to 2000rpm but much better when it comes on boost and pretty reasonable at cruise. Ride quality I find quite good on the highway but what you would expect around town. Direct injected diesels are noisy by nature...

    New member Tamworth NSW

Hi all, New member here. Just purchased a 2006 D22 DX ZD30 dual cab. A few kms (196000) but a recent respray (exterior looks new in white) and a set of 265/75 R16 muddies. Has an ARB winch bar (also in matched white) with a 9000lb Warn winch (currently not working) and a canopy but this is not...
